What is inside

How it plays

  1. LandYou arrive in Lagos with a little money, as low as ₦10,000, a room and a rent date.
  2. HustleTake jobs, ride the danfo, eat, sleep. Every naira has two uses and you only get one.

  4. Go furtherJoin a crew, play ayo, then save for the luxury bus to Abuja.

₦10,000 does not stay long

The first thing Lagos teaches you is that cash moves. You start at the danfo park, where a conductor job is waiting, and a POS kiosk wants someone to run it.

Then the room needs rent, the buka wants its money and the light goes out in the middle of your plan. NEPA does not care what you were doing.

Rent day dey come.

Every naira has two uses and you only get one. The board tells you who chose better.

Nobody makes it alone

Friends and crews are part of the game. Invite someone, share your rank, and see who is ahead of you and by how much.

When you need a break, find the ayo board under the almond tree in Mushin. Kunle the vulcaniser boy will play you, and there is draughts too.

Your guys dey the street

Other real players can stand on the street near you. They carry a green Player tag, so you know a person is behind the name. Simulated rivals are marked AI. Tap a Player to say hi or add them as a friend.

Chat on the street is preset lines only, like "How far!" and "I hail o!". You pick one and it shows over your head. Nobody types to strangers.

Friends can play ayo, draughts and ludo against you, one turn at a time. Your friend sees your move when they next open the game, so nobody has to be online at the same moment. A stake in game naira is optional, up to ₦20,000. You can also send friends game naira from Day 3, up to ₦50,000 a day. It is game money only.

Join a crew with friends you invite. A crew has weekly goals that pay small respect and cosmetic stars, and a season board ranks crews. Until friends fill your crew, simulated members, marked AI, fill it for you.

Abuja does not rush

Wuse Market is the first stop: kilishi at the corner, a taxi rank at Berger, a federal ministry annex down the road and a lobby full of contractors with deals to offer.

Your cash comes with you. Your reputation starts again, on a ranking board where only Abuja hustlers count.
